The Price is Right Gives Away Biggest Prize Yet: High-end Sports Car

In the 41-year run for the CBS game show “The Price is Right”, contestants have won refrigerators, entertainment centers, and cars. However, until Sheree Heil was given the famous beckon “come one down”, no one had won a prize as big as hers. The native of Tacoma, Washington, was in town to watch the show and hopefully land a spot. Now, she’ll likely need to cancel her plane ticket home as she’ll be riding back in the comfort of her very own $157,300 black Audi R8 Spyder Quattro sports car.

The Audi R8 Spyder Quattro features a six-CD changer, and automatic windshield wipers and climate control. It has the ability to park itself and sports a rear-facing camera. She won the vehicle playing the game “Gas Money” which gives the contestant a shot at a car and up to $10,000 in cash. She won both. In total, her take was worth $170,345 making her the shows biggest winner to date.

It should be noted that the starting price of an Audi R8 Spyder Quattro is $114,900. This means that her vehicle has over $43,000 worth of add-ons. That is more by far than what most Americans finance in a new car.
