suspected domestic violence, was just farting
Clawson, MI – Local police responded to a phone call about a case of domestic abuse in progress as neighbors heard a woman screaming for dear life against cries to cease and not proceed further. Such calls are some of the highest tension calls police can respond to due to the unpredictable nature of those engaging in domestic violence.
However, as they spoke with the couple at the residence, they were left with a humorous tale to tell. The woman at the residence was in deed screaming at the top of her voice, but it was in disgust over her boyfriend’s flatulence.
Either humorously or for reasons beyond his control, he did not cease to pass gas which she found intolerable enough to let out screams which her neighbors misinterpreted. Back in May, a Florida woman was arrested for shanking her boyfriend following his passing gas in her face.
“One of the neighbors had heard somebody yelling — a female yelling … she was possibly being hit — yelling, ‘Stop! No!'” Clawson Police Chief Harry Anderson told CBS Detroit.
“She admitted she’d been shouting, but said it was because her boyfriend had continued to pass gas, and she was yelling at him to stop,” Anderson added.
When police arrived on the scene, they found her 53-year-old boyfriend suffering from a knife wound to the abdomen and an arm injury from a blow by a stick which she too had administered. In her case, she said it was an argument about money that provoked the attack.
