Toys “R” Us in Canada is giving holiday shoppers a chance to snag Black Friday sales before Black Friday even arrives. They are calling it Moonlight Madness on Friday, November 22nd. Every Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us in Canada will be providing this exciting night.

Unlike most Black Friday stores that open their doors at midnight, Moonlight Madness will start at 6 pm and run until midnight. The sales start at 30% off and go all the way up to 50% off. The night will be divided into priced sections. Each hour will have its own amazing sale. Customers will also be given the chance to earn 75 bonus air miles if they spend $100 or more. This event will be featured in stores and online as well, giving tired parents a choice to still get their children the toys they will love!

“I think it’s a new tradition. I think it kicks off the shopping season nicely,” Wendy Greenwood, the company’s marketing director for Ontario said.

“Many of our customers said to us, ‘We hate the hectic pace of December, we want to have the opportunity to shop early,'” says Toys R Us Chief Marketing Officer Richard Barry.
