Troubled last months of tragic death of Phillip Seymour
inal Months
Stress and loneliness are two big contributors to a relapse for any recovered addict be the addiction sexual, alcohol, eating related, or in the case of the late actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman, drug-related. Details are now emerging about the final months of the 46-year-old actor’s life. A still depicting a pensive downward looking Hoffman deep in concentration taken a fortnight before his death may have been more indicative of his real life situation than previously imagined. The photograph was taken at the recent Sundance Film Festival.
He had recently broken up with his partner Mimi O’Donnell with whom he fathered three children. The pain of the separation may partially explain the quantity of opiates found at his residence by police. Regardless of the motivations, Hoffman appears to have become victim to a deadly batch of heroin that the FBI says is responsible for 100 other deaths recently. Hoffman’s body was found with a needle still sticking out of his arm.
An eye witness has now come forward to tell police he saw the late Oscar winning actor buying what may have been the dose that killed him. Hoffman was allegedly at an ATM where he withdrew cash which he promptly handed over to two drug dealers. Hoffman was said to look in ragged condition.
