A new boutique item has arrived just in time to be purchased either as a Valentine’s Day gift idea or in preparation for the activity according to designer Emily King. Perhaps the Florida-based designer is sincere enough in her desire to create a functional pillow that can be kissed. Truth be told, there are plenty of women who have kissed their pillows during adolescence as they fantasized about making out with that special someone.

However, purchasing a pillow with a human snout and lips taken from CPR dummies does come across like some kind of “pervy” item from a cheap adult toy store. The pillow, which looks like it could come with an accompanying vibrator, doesn’t appear to be a hit with her friends. They actually find the cushion support object to be creepy as opposed to being a novelty item.

However, Ms. King finds that it is people over age 25 that get “creeped” out by the pillow. Young adults under age 25 get “creeped” out as well, but in a good sense which is what prompted her to create the pillows. They come in different colors for the pillow design. Perhaps they’d make an interesting set of throw pillows in a bedroom.
