£122k: world’s most expensive bottle of wine goes on sale

The world’s highest priced bottle of wine will soon be up for sale in Dubai and you can own it for just £122k. This Chateau Margaux wine is one of six limited edition bottles that were all produced by the exclusive wine merchant, Le Clos, in 2009. Only three 12 litre bottles of this exclusive wine will be available for sale. This exquisite wine can be aged for over one hundred years and was produced at the Chateau Margaux vineyard which is located north of Bordeaux in the Medoc region of France.

The lucky individual who purchases this one of a kind bottle of wine will not only receive the title of owning one of the best vintage wines ever produced, but they will also receive a first class plane ticket to France where they will have the opportunity to visit the Chateau Margaux estate. There they will have the rare chance to enjoy a private tour of the cellars and the wine vineyard before having dinner with chief wine master, Paul Pontallier.

One of the three bottles of wine will be displayed at the Le Clos’ flagship store located in the Dubai International Airport. This particular bottle will be stored in its own ornate oak case, which will be engraved in gold.
