AJ Mccarron’s Girlfriend Turns Heads At Game, Gains Huge Twitter Following
According to the Los Angeles Times, the 73 year old ESPN play-by-play sportscaster Brent Musburger really went haywire when he spotted Katherine Webb in the stands.
AJ McCarron was playing the first quarter of the football game on Monday but he wasn’t the one who got the attention.
Instead Mr. Musburger zoomed in on Katherine and made several comments on her beauty. Kirk Herbstreit also commented on how beautiful she is.
“You quarterbacks, you get all the good looking women,” Musburger said. “What a beautiful woman.”
“Wow!” Herbstreit said.
“Whoa!” Musburger chimed in.
“AJ’s doing some things right down in Tuscaloosa,” Herbstreit said.
“If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pop,” Musburger said.
The entire episode was caught on film and many were disgusted by the display.
Instead of the attention being on the game where most thought it should have been the two sportscasters put the spotlight on Katherine. Alabama was leading fourteen to zero at the time and yet two old men were ogling an innocent young woman. The whole incident received 90,000 hits on twitter.
The camera actually panned over onto Miss Webb during an exciting part of the game.
The whole incident was totally unacceptable in many peoples eyes.
Since the incident she began gaining scores of Twitter followers and noticed her phone wouldn’t stop vibrating with incoming texts and emails, reports Yahoo News. The influx was so great, it drained her phone battery.
“My phone is dead,” she told Yahoo! Sports, a bit stunned at it all. “My followers went from 2,300 this morning to 96,000 by the end of the night. I don’t know if I should even check now, I don’t know what is going on.”
She laughed.
“I guess [Musburger] said something but I don’t know what it was because I haven’t seen it.”
When told of his girlfriend’s new-found popularity – McCarron said he couldn’t believe it.
“No way,” McCarron said.
“Maaaan, I’m gonna tweet him and I’m gonna get a follow. That’s messed up. Hey, I guess she’s more famous than me.”

Katherine Webb To Pose For Sports Illustrated
Webb may soon appear in the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated.
Webb, who is the reigning Miss Alabama, sent out a tweet this week saying that she was posing for Sports Illustrated.
Webb wrote: ”It’s official…shooting with Sports Illustrated!”
