Dwarf Crashes Car in Norway

Dokka, Norway – Police in this small town of 2,800 people 110km (~68 miles) north of Oslo got to respond to a most strange incident: a dwarf had crashed a vehicle. The dwarf had left its license at home. Well, that was the story given to them by the car’s 10-year-old driver. The lad will need to think of a better story when his parents ask him to explain himself.

What happened is the young whipper-snapper got it in his head to visit his grandparents in nearby Valdres which is 60km (~37 miles) away. The roads are snow covered, but that didn’t stop him from trying. He actually had his 18-month-old baby sister with him. Thankfully, he had the good sense to strap her into a child safety seat. He managed to drive 10km (~6 miles) before he lost control of the car and slid into a ditch. In another stroke a luck, the driver of a snowplow spotted the car and phoned for help.

The boy’s parents had been worried. They awoke to find their two children missing along with the car. One can only imagine the scenarios racing through their minds. The parents plan to secure their keys better going forward.
