Boy Rescues Kidnapped Girl: Two Teens Chase Down Suspect On Bikes
Last Thursday afternoon a 5-year-old girl was abducted in Lancaster Township, PA. Word spread quickly of the kidnapping, and 15-year-old Boggs didn’t waste any time in organizing a search party consisting of a few friends. On their bikes, the group searched the area. It wasn’t too long into the search that Boggs noticed a young girl in a maroon car with an older man at the wheel. Boggs immediately began following the car. After some time, the driver, apparently fearing apprehension, pushed the child out of the car and drove off.
Lancaster, PA – little five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas has two indomitable teenage boys to thank quite possibly for her life today.
Yesterday, a white male believed to be between ages 50 and 70 pulled up in front of her house as she was playing. With the offer of ice cream, little Jocelyn approached him when he snatched her into his grasp, tossed her in his purplish car and took off. Police and neighbors immediately began a search for her within the first two hours of her disappearance.
It was during this time that 15-year-old Temar Boggs and his buddy spotted Jocelyn inside the suspicious car while they were riding their bicycles.
The teens gave chase and thus began an elusive match of cat and mouse as the vehicle which would go streets, double back, and head in another direction. The teens still managed to keep up with the car.
The teens believe that that abductor knew they were following him. Perhaps the pressure of them tailing him and the authorities combing the area proved too much because all of a sudden, the car door opened up releasing the little girl. As the boys headed towards her, she hailed Temar asking for her mother. Her family is deeply grateful to the boys.
“He stopped at the end of the hill and let her out and she ran to me and said that she needed her mom,” said Temar. Temar then walked back to the search party’s meeting place holding Jocelyn in his arms while Chris rode and wheeled the bicycles back at their side.
“There are no words to say,” said Tracey Clay, Jocelyn’s grandmother. “I’m so grateful.”
“We’ve certainly all heard of worse stories with not-so-happy endings,” Jones said, “but this would be a much happier ending if we find the person responsible.
The boy rescues kidnapped girl story is making worldwide headlines and it’s nice to see a happy ending this time.

Two hours after she was abducted from the front yard of her apartment complex, 5-year-old Jocelyn Rojas of Pennsylvania was found safe—by two teenage boys on bicycles. One of the boys, 15-year-old Temar Boggs, is now being hailed as a hero.
