Batman Robbing a State Fair?

Batman is the ultimate superhero, risking his life regularly to save the citizens of Gotham city, but what if one day our hero became the bad guy. As much as that may sound impossible to superhero aficionados, that is exactly what happened recently at the Colorado State Fair.

A sixteen-year old boy, donning the shirt of the beloved Caped Crusader, complete with a matching mask, was responsible for robbing the Colorado State Fair. Along with two other friends, the teens broke into the Colorado State Fair’s VIP building where they walked away with a laptop, an empty cash register and several televisions.

To make their plan even worse, the trio accidentally locked themselves into the building, so just as they had to break themselves in, they also had to break themselves out out. Unfortunately, what the burglars were not counting on was the fact that the building had surveillance cameras, and much of the incident was caught on tape.

Authorities passed the footage to the local news and the sixteen-year old suspect that was wearing the Batman costume subsequently turned himself in when he saw himself on television. He is expected to be charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

Authorities have yet to apprehend the other two suspects, but the investigation continues.
