Bus Robbery Stopped By Passengers (PHOTO)

Seattle Bus Robbery Thwarted

On the evening of November 19, a nineteen year old man named Trevonnte Brown attempted to rob a bus in Seattle,Washington. The nineteen year old wore a hoodie to cover his face, and held a gun to passengers. He robbed one women by gunpoint, and then proceeded to rob another passenger. However the passenger he attempted to hold up was not having any of it. The passenger lunged at Brown trying to wrestle the gun away from him, finally some fellow passengers helped bring Brown down to the ground; where he was held until police could show up.

Trevonnte Brown is a recent high school graduate, with no previous criminal history. Brown has pleaded not guilty, and if he is convicted could potentially spend more than fifteen years behind bars. A video of Brown being thwarted by the bus passengers was released against his lawyers wishes.

The gunman, who police identified as 19-year-old Trevonnte Brown, had robbed two people aboard the bus before pointing the gun at this passenger’s face.

The judge ruled that the video was allowed to be released, saying the public had a right to see it. The teenager is being order to be held in lieu of a $350,000 bail. Passengers are happy that Brown is of the strreets, and that justice will be served.
