Former Barmaid Inadvertently Turns into Man Following Steroid Use

The title “Former Barmaid Inadvertently Turns into Man Following Steroid Use” sounds like something that should run in the “Weekly World News” which is known for its peculiar stories of human development. However, for 26-year-old Candice Armstrong it is all too true.

Ironically, the story of her masculine transformation began when she wanted to make herself more attractive to men. For Armstrong, that meant going to the gym and working out.

Unfortunately, she decided to boost her physical training with steroids. Gradually, Armstrong began to realize that her body was progressively looking more and more masculine.

Talking exclusively to The People, Candice, 26, said: “It happened gradually. People began to assume I was a man in drag.

Today, she looks like a man complete with facial stubble and a muscular build and even a tiny penis. Armstrong even says that she gets heckled by people when she walks with a handbag given her male face, physique and gait.

“Now If I go out with a handbag someone will shout, ‘You dirty pervert.’ So I’ve had to start wearing men’s clothes.

“I have to avoid ladies’ loos. And one man I slept with said, ‘I’ve never been with a man but you’re the next best thing.’”

So why didn’t she stop when the transformation was still in its early stages? In part, Ms. Armstrong suffers from body dysmorphia where she cannot help but view her body as being distorted. In her case, she saw her upper body as always being too narrow, reports the Mirror.

This drove her to work out three hours a day to improve it. To make matters worse, she both tried and got addicted to steroids and the result has left her with a man’s body.

She said: “I started taking steroids because I hated my body but this has made it a thousand times worse.

“Now I look like a man and I hate it. Even my own mother has told me I’m not pretty any more.

“I don’t want to become a man, I just want to be normal.

“I stopped having any sort of sex drive for men. I tried having sex with a girl but that didn’t do anything for me either. So it’s not like it has turned me lesbian.”

Candice, from Walthamstow, East London, added: “I still spend about three hours a day in the gym working out and swimming.

“I eat a hell of a lot. I have six to seven meals a day, about 5,000 calories, but I avoid fat.

“I thought steroids would make me confident but it has given me a whole load more problems.”

The most shocking aspect of the story however, is the growth of a tiny penis the Huff Post reported that Candice said regarding it, “that (it) has gone significantly bigger, yes.”

She adds: “About an inch [long] and it’s shaped like a little penis. It looks like a little penis, you can roll back the foreskin…”
