Celine Dion’s Shoe Madness Extends to Son

International performer Celine Dion has long been known to have a fetish for shoes. It appears that her love of shoes may be genetic.

In a recent interview with Katie Couric, the Canadian native confessed that her two-year-old son Nelson loves wearing heels.

Despite being so young, she says he is able to “work it” in heels and maintain balance.

Celine said:

“One of my sons, Nelson, is two-and-a-half, and he walks better in heels than me! I don’t know how he does it, but I’m not the only one in the family who loves shoes.”

She even displayed a photograph of Nelson wearing a red tartan sports coat, nice grey khakis, and a fancy pair of her heels. Dion says that she lets her son go through her wardrobe and pick out shoes he’s interested in regardless of whether they are sandals or heels.

It should be noted that Nelson has a twin brother named Eddie, but Dion did not comment on whether Eddie too enjoys wearing her shoes. As for Dion, she admits she loves shoes so much she’ll get them in any size from five to ten. Dion also did not deny rumors that her personal shoe collection is in excess of 3,000 pairs, but rather candidly remarked that she has long since stopped counting.

Dion is currently performing in Las Vegas where she signed a lucrative deal worth $100 million.
