Crocodile Under Bed While Unsuspecting Man Slept

We’ve all heard the term, don’t let the bed bugs bite, but what about don’t let the crocodiles bite?
Guy Whittall in Zimbabwe woke up to an 8 foot long 300 pound crocodile just hanging out under his bed! The man didn’t even notice this crocodile as he slept just inches away from the massive beast.
Whittall went about his morning routine and didn’t find out about his reptile friend until he heard a shriek from his house keeper.
This crocodile was simply just hanging out under the bed for 8 hours before anyone even noticed him. Whittall was able to rope the monster and bag him up in order to remove him. It is incredible that no one was hurt in this ordeal.
What really scared Whittall about the whole situation is that before he started with his daily routine, he was sitting barefoot on the edge of his bed, feet just inches away from the crodiles mouth. Now everyone in Zimbabwe will check under their bed before sleeping!
“The really disconcerting thing about the whole episode is the fact that I was sitting on the edge of the bed that morning, bare foot and just centimeters away from the croc,” Whittall said, according to The Telegraph.
The crocodile is believed to have come from the Turgwe River, located more than a mile from the ranch.
The Telegraph reports that a group of men were able to capture the unwanted guest.
“Catching and securing a croc of any size on land, though, is a fairly straightforward affair and we are experienced in that,” Whittall said. “The most important thing is to get its snout roped and secured, and then it’s just a matter of restraining it and covering its eyes, to calm it down.”
“I just remember thinking, goodness gracious, that’s one for the books,” he said. “I’m pretty sure everyone in Humani checks under their bed before going to sleep now anyway.”
