Danica Patrick and Her Gifts of Shoes

It seems that if you want to get a gift for Danica Patrick, shoes are the way to go. Bruton Smith, who chairs Speedway Motorsports Inc (the holder of a large number of tracks in the Sprint Cup Series), keeps on giving Ms. Patrick more and more shoes, reports YaHoo.

This all started back in 2010, when Smith gifted her a pair of Y. Jaiselle shoes, and his most recent gift was a pair of Jimmy Choos. Both of these pairs of shoes are extremely expensive, and in fact, when being asked about her new shoes she jokingly mentioned that the best pair of shoes her current boyfriend, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, has ever given her were a pair of cowboy boots.

Sadly, it seems that Danica has failed to figure out a way to use the shoes yet, saying that “I haven’t found the right occasion for them. I thought I was going to wear them during the ESPYs, but they didn’t match my dress right.”.

That said, I’m sure she will eventually find a way to use them, and being Danica Patrick means that she will look absolutely stunning in whatever shoes and clothes she chooses to wear.

Meanwhile Patrick managed a 26th place finish at Bristol this weekend with a damaged race car.

“There is nothing you can do about getting into the wall,” said Patrick. We came back as best we could and made the car as good as it was at the end. We are still on a good streak of running strong.”
