Abyss Creations in San Marcos, CA gave one man true love that will last a life time.

Davecat bought his wife Sidore Kuroneko, a life-size sex doll made of silicone flesh, from the company for $6,000.

Sidore, a RealDoll, is “anatomically correct.” But the love the two share is not strictly sexual. Davecat says that 30 per cent of their relationship is “companionship”. They share a meaningful emotional connection and have been together for 13 years. That’s more than a lot of relationships.

The two love-birds wear matching wedding bands that say “Synthetik love lasts forever.”

He has always been attracted to mannequins. Part of the appeal of being married to a doll, Davecat confesses, is that the “arguments are few and far between” and are “usually superficial in nature”.

“The arguments are extremely few and far between. In the 13-plus years we’ve been together, you can count the number of arguments we’ve had on one hand. I find that I can’t develop her personality as being 100 per cent agreeable with everything, as that would be somewhat boring.

“But really, the differences that we have are almost entirely superficial; usually based on aesthetic or musical tastes, for the most part. We are firm believers in the ‘don’t go to bed angry’ ethos, however. As every couple should be.”

Although the two get along better than the average couple, the relationship is not without its costs. The maintenance costs for Sidore’s upkeep can be expensive. Since Davecat purchased her in 2000, she has had three replacement “bodies”.

The 40-year-old machine shop worker considers himself an introvert. Instead of going out on the town with his synthetic love, he prefers to stay in and watch films or play video-games.

“We like watching films or telly shows on DVD together, or playing video games,” he said. “She claims that I’ve brought out her inner photo model, so our favourite pastime is doing photoshoots. We’ll set aside a good six or so hours, and I’ll take pics of her in various poses, wearing whatever outfit she’s selected.”
