Joakim Noah Gets Fan’s Middle Finger in His Face Following Game Ejection

If the Chicago Bulls expect to move past the Miami Heat in their best of seven playoff series, they’ll need all hands on deck to do it.

This past Thursday, the Bulls were handed a one-sided defeat 115-78 in a score that resembles a Harlem Globetrotters victory over a college basketball team. The cause was obvious: key players were ejected. One of those players ejected was Joakim Noah. Noah got more than he bargained for as he walked off court when an attractive blonde shoved her middle finger in his face.

A photograph of the incident is making its way on the internet. When asked about the obscene gesture, Noah seemed to display the type of poise and dignity that would have certainly kept him from being ejected. He explained that negative fan reaction is part of being in the NBA especially when playing on the road. Noah was stoic when he said he can handle the fan pressure.

The attractive blonde who gave him the middle-finger is Filomena Tobias, the widow of Seth Tobias. Tobias was a hedge fund manager who regularly gave commentary on CNBC.

It is reported that she is embarrassed by the incident and believes “people need to get a life”. Really? One would expect that is the counsel she would be giving herself.
