First Ever Kama Sutra Dot-to-Dot EditionEveryone remembers doing artwork as a child that involved “dot-to-dot” designs. Usually, those sketches revealed images of lovable animals, spaceships, or other images to spur the imagination. The use of such images gave rise to the popular adage “connect the dots” referring to stringing together clues to arrive at a conclusion.

Well, a new dot-to-dot book is soon to go on bookstore shelves, but it won’t be for children’s imaginations this time. This is a Kama Sutra connect the dots illustrated book. The authors freely admit that there is an element of levity in the sketches since many illustrations only feature the male and female head. Given that the purpose of the Kama Sutra positions were to experience the joys and physical human congress between the sexes, the sketches ultimately reveal a unique sexual position.

The collaborators claim they worked out the difficulties in rendering a Kama Sutra position as a series of numerical dots. Admittedly, they claim most people will want to cut to the quick and view the portions involving the male and female nether regions.

The design team behind the book said, “It was surprisingly difficult – you could easily lose your way round a body when positioning the dots.
“Of course the bits that everyone wants to draw themselves are the rude bits. They were the most complicated parts to work out – so many dots, so close together to portray the intimate details.”
