For Jessica Chastain Dad Is a Forever Word

Loyalty “thou name” just might be Jessica Chastain. It has recently been revealed that the biological dad of Jessica Chastain may have been Michael Monasterio. According to a number of reports Chastain was the daughter of Monasterio, even though she states that her birth certificate does not list any man as being her dad.

The news about Monasterio was hitting the headlines because of his death. As soon as the information leak became public knowledge there were reporters who were hounding Chastain to speak out about any familial connection to this deceased musician.

The actress had been on a publicity tour for her newest film, “Zero Dark Thirty” when Monasterio’s death was being published. Jessica Chastain steadfastly holds her tongue, other than to tell reporters that no one has shown her any proof of paternity in the case of Michael Monasterio.

She has maintained a circumspect silence throughout these trying weeks. In fact, she did not even attend the funeral services that were held for Monasterio. The main reason for this silence is that Chastain has a great deal of loyalty and respect for the only dad she has known-Michael Hastey, her stepdad. An upcoming interview with Chastain will be appearing in the November issue of Vogue magazine.
