Australian IT Specialist claims to be Reborn Jesus

A former IT specialist is causing concern in Queensland, Australia as a cult is growing around his claims to be the reborn Jesus Christ. Alan John Miller, better known as A.J. is attracting followers to a small area of the Australian territory called Kingaroy after stating he is Jesus and his partner Mary Luck is the reborn biblical figure Mary Magdalene.

Many experts in cults are monitoring the situation and are claiming the growing group of followers could put their lives at risk by giving up their lives to follow Miller.

The Divine Truth movement has been growing in Australia and around the world as Miller has been spreading his religious beliefs over the Internet and in personal appearances.

Miller claims to have memories of his former incarnation as Jesus and his time spent after the crucifixion in the spirit world learning from some of the greatest minds of the human race.

He told Sky News: “I have very clear memories of the crucifixion, but it wasn’t as harrowing for me as it was for others like Mary who was present.

“When you are one with God you are not in a state of fear, and you have quite good control over your body’s sensations and the level of pain that you absorb from your body.”

The claims of the leader of the Divine Truth include memories of how difficult the crucifixion was for those watching, but as Jesus he was certain of his relationship with God and remained calm throughout.

He also says he remembers performing miracles.

He said: “I did resurrect quite a number of people … including a friend of mine Lazarus, who most people know is mentioned in the Bible.”

Miller does not charge for those who listen to his teachings, but does accept donations from those attending his seminars around the world.

He refutes any suggestion that he forces anyone to do anything they are uncomfortable with.

“All we do is present seminars and answer people’s questions. I still for the life of me can’t quite understand where the cult thing has come from,” he told Sky News.

He added: “There were lots of people in the first century who didn’t believe I was the Messiah and were offended by what I said – and in fact I died at the hands of some of them.

“Unfortunately they didn’t learn love either and my suggestion is, even if you don’t believe I am Jesus, at least learn how to love.”
