Golfers Find 2 Bodies After Hearing Gunfire

TALLAHASEE, Florida: Two anonymous golfers heard gunfire during their game on Hilaman Golf Course and then discovered two women’s bodies. The grisly scene was discovered in a grassy area behind an apartment complex located right next to the golf course.
Ongoing police investigations include canvassing the neighborhood, conducting interviews and collecting forensic evidence. The two still unidentified bodies are undergoing autopsies. Results will not be available for some time.
The two golfers were enjoying a game late Tuesday afternoon when they heard multiple shots fired. They quickly called police. The two golfers then decided to investigate the gunshots themselves and discovered the two corpses. The golfers did not see anyone fleeing the vicinity.
Residents of the sleepy neighborhood in southeast Tallahassee are stunned by the news. One resident told local news station WCTV, “I was in shock because it’s so quiet out here.” Not anymore.
