Jon Hamm Rumor Addresses Underwear Issue

Because some crew members on the set of the popular AMC dramatic series “Mad Men” have become too distracted by actor Jon Hamm’s lack of underwear, rumor has it that the star who portrays troubled ad executive Don Draper must agree to end his practice of going commando while at work. Because the 60s-style suits worn by Hamm this season are tight and very form fitting, the producers are insisting that Hamm wear appropriate underwear to avoid the risk of having tell-tale bulges appear in the crotch area.

One insider on the set says that Hamm’s private parts have been an inside joke among cast and crew members since the award-winning series premiered in 2007.

“Jon refuses to wear underwear and there have been so many close calls on the set that someone finally had to tell him to secure his goods,” a source confided.

“During filming, his character has had to wear some very short shorts, and that’s when everyone’s especially on edge. Some of the actresses and crew members wouldn’t mind a sneak peek, but the majority of the cast and crew don’t want Jon to accidentally expose himself.”

Hamm has made it no secret that he is proud of the size of his package, but in keeping with the style of clothing worn by men during the swinging 60s, parts of his anatomy have become more than a little distracting to audience, crew and cast members alike.

The marketing department for AMC allegedly had to retouch promotional photos in which Hamm appeared during the first two seasons in order to avoid any controversy. The series is set to premiere its sixth season on April 7 with a special two-hour episode.
