Numerous studies have confirmed that coffee is great for your health. Can your coffee make you smile as well? The new coffee brand called Grumpy Cat is willing to put that theory to the test.
Grumpy Cat started as a meme; it then turned into a viral sensation. Now, the creators have announced a line of Grumpy Cat branded coffee. The new coffee, or Grumpuccino, will be marketed with a tagline stating that “It is awfully good.”
Hopefully, this coffee will be good enough to get Grumpy Cat to turn its frown upside down. The coffee will come in a few flavors like mocha, regular and vanilla. According to the company’s page on Facebook, the drink consists of milk and Arabic coffee beans.
Currently, not much else is known about the Grumpy Cat coffee. However, they did release a statement on Twitter stating that Grumpy Cat will be sold online before being available in stores.
There is no word on whether Grumpy Cat is upset about this news. The internet famous sour-puss has had an insane year after his picture was posted on the link sharing site Reddit.com. Since then, he was voted Meme of the year at the Webby awards and named the most influential cat of 2012 by MSNBC.
