Helen Flanagan reveal plans to adopt

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has revealed her wish to become a mother and claims she will begin the process of adopting a child next year if she is still single in 2014. In an interview with OK! Magazine Flanagan revealed she considered starting a family with her former boyfriend Scott Sinclair before discovering the footballer had cheated on her.

Flanagan claims she began to want to begin a family in 2012 whilst dating Manchester City footballer Sinclair; the actress does express her happiness that she did not have a baby with Sinclair now she knows the footballer was cheating on her during their relationship. As she is now single Flanagan explained she is now considering adopting a baby from a country outside the UK because she feels she would be a good mother despite being single and only 22 years old.

In the interview Flanagan admitted she still has feelings for her former boyfriend, Sinclair and refused to rule out reconciling with the Premier League star. The chances of a reunion of the former couple seemed to increase recently when Sinclair joined Flanagan to celebrate her birthday on a night out in Manchester; Flanagan stated she would like to help a child from abroad by offering a loving home for an adopted child.
