Hermes Crocodile T-shirt Has Shocking Price Tag

A t-shirt made entirely of crocodile skins is the latest Spring 2013 offering from Hermes, which premiered the unique garment as part of its Chiffon Crocodile line-up of shirts. The price tag, however, is a bit of a shock, since the specially designed t-shirt costs $91,500, plus an additional $8,000 in sales tax.

The t-shirt that the Hermes model wore on the fashion runway to announce its availability was a very rich black, but no word if other colors or custom requested colors are available for this shirt.

The company’s flagship store in New York City is carrying the Crocodile t-shirt in basic black.

The newly released Hermes t-shirt is even more expensive than a crocodile backpack released by the Olson twins in 2012 that sold for $55,000. Prices for the Chiffon Crocodile shirts in the spring Hermes collection range between $60,000 and $100,000, not including sales tax.
