Iranian news Says US run by aliens
Iranian news agency says the U.S. is secretly run by Nazi space aliens. Really.
In a story that most in the United States would expect from a publication like the Weekly World News, a semi-official Iranian news outlet posted an article claiming the United States is run by aliens bent on world domination. These same aliens supposedly supported the Nazis in a failed bid to take over the world.
The new agency Fars is known for taking conspiracy theories at face value and stating them as fact, but this latest in a long series of unbelievable accusations seems to be fitting into a pattern.
According to Fars, Russia’s Federal Security Service put all of this information into a report that somehow slipped into the clutches of conspiracy theory website Whatdoesitmean.com.
From the piece:
“A stunning Federal Security Services (FSB) report on the nearly two million highly classified top-secret documents obtained from the United States Department of Defense (DOD) run National Security Agency-Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) by the American ex-patriot Edward Snowden states that this information is providing ‘incontrovertible proof’ that an ‘alien/extraterrestrial intelligence agenda’ is driving US domestic and international policy, and has been doing so since at least 1945.”
Other articles, such as the Western media’s attempt to undermine the Iranian Prime Minister through misquoting, the secret Jewish history of the British royal family, and Israel’s secret plans to annex Iran, all fit a theme of persecution by foes who cannot be negotiated with. These articles, though they may seem farcical, represent a worldview of “us and them” with nothing but total, hard line resistance as a possible option.
It should be made clear this is by no means the stance of the Iranian government. However, the fact that enough people believe that this news story might be valid despite its lack of proof does prove somewhat worrisome.
