Jamie Lynn-Sigler, former star of The Sopranos has revealed to Life & Style magazine that she is pregnant following her recent engagement to professional baseball player Cutter Dykstra.
The star of NBC’s Guys with Kids sitcom and minor league player Dykstra confirmed to the news to the magazine following the announcement of their engagement on January 28th; the representative of Lynn-Sigler who confirmed the rumored pregnancy claimed it had come as a shock to couple who now are keen to become parents.
“The pregnancy was a shock,” a source tells Life & Style about the baby news. “She just told the cast and crew [of her NBC show ‘Guys with Kids,’ in which she plays the role of a mother].”
“It’s hard for me to find a sound bite about Cutter,” she previously dished to the mag. “I think the one thing I could say and the only thing I will say is that I would wish for any girl in the world to find their Cutter.”
The actress, best known for her role as Meadow Soprano in thel ong running Mafia series revealed her engagement to Dykstra, who is signed to the Washington Nationals via a Twitter picture arfte he proposed on January 28th this year.
The Twitter picture was accompanied by the caption ‘This just happened’ as Lynn-Sigler showed her engagement ring. The couple are said to be friends of New York Yankees player Nick Swisher and his wife Joanna Garcia who is also expecting a baby.
