Jennifer Garner has recently signed with luxury Italian fashion house Max Mara. Not only is this a first for the actress/mom of three, it’s a first for Max Mara which until now has never used a celebrity in an ad to promote the brand’s clothing.

Luigi Maramotti of Max Mara told Women’s Wear Daily that “Jennifer Garner is a real woman, not a cover girl, not a starlet, and she has different interests, a family and values. She is a real woman and embodies the Max Mara woman, she perfectly reflects our image.”

Impressively, Garner was photographed a few years ago donning one of the same, identical coats she has modeled in for the Italian clothing line.

Garner explained that she wanted to feel the luxurious fabric “against the skin,” to USA Today.

As well as the fabric of her favorite garments, Garner said that she adores the JBag, stating that she particularly enjoyed the size of the bag; big enough to stuff full of whatever you happen to grab on the way out the door, but small enough to find your car keys without having to sit the bag on the trunk and pull everything out.

“I like the size of the JBag,” Garner said in a Max Mara press release. “I like that it’s big enough to carry anything you want to stuff in there, but it’s small enough that you won’t lose your keys!”

Her campaign’s five images will release in late fall of this year and spring of next year.

In the photos, Garner poses for photographer Mario Sorrenti wearing a luxe camel coat and Max Mara’s new statement handbag, the JBag, of which she’s now a big fan. “I like the size of the JBag,” Garner said in a statement. “I like that it’s big enough to carry anything you want to stuff in there, but it’s small enough that you won’t lose your keys!”
