Another Empty Home for Full House Star

Jodie Sweetin, who is best known for her portrayal of Stephanie Tanner in the 1980’s sitcom Full House, alongside John Stamos and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, has rediscovered just how unpleasant divorce can be after filing last month for legal separation from her latest husband Morty Coyle. Alongside the divorce, Sweetin also filed for full custody of her and Coyle’s two year old child, Beatrix.

Coyle, however, has other plans and has filed with the presiding judge of Los Angeles for joint custody of their child, as well as seeking to protect his personal belongings and deny Sweetin of spousal support, according to TMZ.

This is Sweetin’s third go around in the divorce arena, the first ending in 2006 from ex-husband Shaun Holguin, a police officer, who filed for divorce after discovering Sweetin was a crystal meth user. Her second divorce, from Cody Herpin, was finalized in 2010. Sweetin filed after Herpin accused her of being a poor mother for their child.

Now, Sweetin rides those familiar roads of court filings after just a year of marriage with Coyle, who proposed to the former child star in 2011 on her 29th birthday during a party in celebration of the event.
