Halle Berry Caresses New Baby Bump on Red Carpet

Pending motherhood obviously agrees with 46-year old actress Halle Berry, who recently appeared at a red carpet event in Buenos Aires, serenely caressing her rapidly growing baby bump. Berry, who was in Argentina recently to promote her latest film, “The Call”, shocked many fans with the recent news that she is expecting another child.

Onlookers at the Buenos Aires premiere said that Berry had that special glow of pregnancy about her when she stopped on the red carpet and framed her belly area with her hands while dressed in a stunning off the shoulder purple gown accented in silver and gold.

Berry is engaged to Olivier Martinez, who is the father of the baby she is currently expecting. Berry admits that hearing news that she would be a mother again came as a total surprise to her as well. But her broad grin at the film’s premiere and the loving way that she caressed her baby bump shows fans that she also considers this mid-life surprise to be among the most wonderful that has occurred in her life.

Berry is already mother to a five-year old girl she shares with former boyfriend and model Gabriel Aubry who is the father of daughter Nahla.

Last month Berry appearance On the Tonight show turned heads when her Reem Acra frock distracted host Jay Leno to the point of awkwardness. The sexy mini-dress revealed a lot of cleavage and showed skin all the way to Berry’s navel.

Berry bantered with Leno regarding her Oscar ceremony dress, a Donna Versace gown that almost did not make it to her in time.

“I had a conversation with Donatella Versace. We told her that I wanted to go to the Oscars as a Bond girl, like if a Bond girl would go in 2013,” the star said. “So she came up with what her idea of it was, but, you know, she’s out of the country. So she put it in a suitcase and shipped it here and I got it a day before the Oscars.”

“I felt like I was — you’ll appreciate this — wearing a Ferrari,” she added, appealing to Leno’s penchant for exotic cars.

“I enjoy driving a Ferrari,” he replied suggestively, much to the chagrin of the audience. “Can you drive a stick shift? I’m curious. I’m just asking you, can you drive a manual transmission?”

“Yes, very well,” the Oscar-winner responded.

“Oh, boy, you’re like my dream girl now,” he added.
