Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen, singer of the hit song “Call Me Maybe”, wowed fans with her teenage beauty and charm. Many fans thought the petite 5′ 2″ singer from British Columbia was likely 17-years-old.

As it turns out, she is 27-years-old. Jepsen made her red carpet appearance last year at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards dressed again in teenage-style clothing consisting of white sneakers, a green tank top, and glittery leggings. It appears that her fashion advisers are having her go with a “Hanna Montana” style of clothing that appeals to teen girls. In fact, the clothing she wears looks like it was purchased from popular teen stores such as “Delia” and “Limited Too”.

In an interesting comparison, Miley Cyrus, who defined an era of teen fashion, also made a red carpet appearance at the event but was scantily dressed in a Gaultier blazer. Putting Jepsen’s age into perspective, the original “Hanna Montana” Miley Cyrus is only 20. Other celebrities Jepsen’s age are already quite notorious for their edgy or racy styles like Lady Gaga, Megan Fox, Mischa Barton, and Bar Refaeli. Even the original teen queen Britney Spears embraced a sexual image by age 19.
