Justin Timberlake going country?

Justin Timberlake has been known for his extremely successful R&B/pop music albums. But as of late, he has felt the need to explore other options, namely country music.

In the last week, the music star went to Nashville to perform live and all the while, gave hints that he may be starting to include more country music in his career. Given the fact that he originally grew up close to Memphis, Tennessee, this might not be all that much of a surprise to many people. The thirty-two year old singer went on to say that “I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and I listened to country music, R’n’B music, classic rock… everything.”

“I think there could be a place for me here in the future for sure,” he said. “Absolutely I will work in Nashville. That’s probably the next move for me. The next move for me is to sink some teeth in here.”

Timberlake later on said that “I still got my eyes set on a ‘Best Country Album,’” he said before laughing. “There is time for that.” Interestingly enough, Timberlake has already had a very successful career, an even better 2013 since he released two albums earlier this year and broke sales records in its first few weeks. Even better news for Timberlake, he is nominated for an Artist of the Year award as well as an R&B Male Artist and Album award too.
