Kandi Burruss Still Engaged, Not Married

Kandi Burruss former singer of Xscape and now star of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” recently got engaged to her boyfriend Todd Tucker. She revealed to ABC News Radio though that her wedding planning has come to a halt due to lack of support from her mother. On the next episode of the show, viewers will get to see why.

Burruss’ mother, Joyce Jones, is completely opposed to the marriage and expresses it while filming. Her mother is being completely unsupportive. She wants her mother at the wedding, but does not want her there if she is going to create a scene.

Rumors have been running rampant that Burruss and Tucker were already secretly married, but she insists that it has not happened yet and is mainly due to her mother. The factor stopping them from getting married in the nearest courthouse is that they both want their children from their previous relationships to be involved in the wedding. The couple got engaged on New Years’ Day of this year and they met in 2011 on the set of the show. Tucker started out as a producer, but due to their relationship on the reality show he is now in front of the camera.
