Kendrick Johnson’s body was stuffed with newspaper: police
Teenager found dead, body stuffed with newspaper
Perhaps one of the most mysterious and gruesome types of murder has taken place in the Southern Georgia city of Savannah. However, the death of 17-year-old Kendrick Johnson has yet to be labeled as a murder case.
Upon the exhumation of the young Kendrick Johnson’s body after the burial, it has been found that his internal organs are missing. His body cavity had been filled with newspaper, and the organizations that conducted his autopsy have claimed that by the time they received his body, the internal organs had been destroyed.
The Johnson family is working with their lawyer to reopen their own investigation case. There is a video with captured still images of the time Kendrick was seen in a gym, but nobody is able to view it yet due to legal issues. The reopening of the case should enable investigators to get a clearer understanding of what exactly happened.
Kendrick Johnson was a 17-year-old student and basketball player on his high school’s basketball team. He was found dead in a rolled-up gym mat on January 11, with investigators initially claiming he had died from asphyxia when reaching for a pair of shoes he may have placed in there. His family and many others think otherwise, and recent evidence that has been discovered upon his exhumation may point everyone much closer to the actual truth.
