Kim Kardarshian Could Sue Cedars-Sinai Over Security Scandal

For the past few years Kim Kardashian, and her immediate family, have made numerous headlines about their luxurious lives.

Last month, on June 15th, Kim Kardashian gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. Since the birth Kim has laid low until a serious problem arose concerning her medical information. Six staffers at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles were caught looking at her health records and have been fired for accessing Miss Kardashian’s medical records without her permission. According to Southern California Public Radio, Kim was not the only patient that had her privacy violated; she is one out of 14 patients who are affected by the security breach.

The culprits who were fired consisted of four physicians, a medical assistant and an unpaid student research assistant. According to TMZ.com, Kim was notified by the security breach by the hospital. The media outlet also specified that the Kardashian family felt that someone was looking at medical records because too much information about little North was becoming public. So far there have been no statements released by Kim Kardashian or her child’s father, Kanye West, about the incident. Legal action could be taken following such a serious violation of HIPAA law and patient privacy.
