South Park Kanye Spoof Brings The lol’s

Does the cartoon parody of an outspoken rapper ever get old? On this week’s season finale of South Park, Kanye West was again the butt of more than just a few jokes. The writers bashed everything from his taste in women, to his controversial interruption of Taylor Swift’s music award speech. (Apparently some news will never be old enough to get passed over for a joke).
Kanye’s time in the spotlight has been fueled with both highs and lows. His charismatic, but outspoken personality and fearless exposure to any type of attention and spotlight are exactly what the writers of South Park are fueled by.
According to rollingstone.com the episode actually revolved around the premise that Kanye’s was defending his girlfriend, Kim Karsdashian, against whisperings that she was a hobbit. The episode is quite outlandish, as most are, with Kanye appearing from the sea to assert that Kim is not a Hobbit, he even interrupts a speech to clarify some of the similarities and differences between the Kardishian’s television series and Peter Jackson’s movie.

This is not Kanye’s first appearance on the South Park show, and while this showing was less stinging than previous times on the series, his personality and character in real life will likely ensure that this is not the last time we see him in animated form.
