The singer spent Labor Day (02Sep13) being treated for a virus in her ear. She had hoped to spend a relaxing day with family and friends.

Rimes tweeted early Monday afternoon that she was experiencing vertigo. She was reported to also have inner ear pain, and her vision was blurry.

She later tweeted, “You know you’re sick when you end up in the doctors office on Labor Day asking for a shot. #ihateshots.”

The music star took time to wish her fans a great Labor Day later that night.

Rimes updated fans via twitter on Tuesday that she was still experiencing dizziness, and wishing she wasn’t sick.

LeAnn Rimes is set to start her European Tour on September 10th in the UK. She assured fans on Monday that the tour has not been canceled, and that she cannot wait to see her fans there.

The star made other news Labor Day weekend with the resurfacing of her twitter fued with Brandi Glanville. Glanville claims that she was asked to guest star on the upcoming reality show featuring Leann Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian.

Sources claim that Brandi’s agent approached producers about appearing on the show. When there was no response from producers and the couple, Glanville reported that she had turned down an offer presented to her.
