Man Arrested at Super Bowl Party for Biting Off Brother’s Ear

A Rochester, New York man has been charged with first-degree assault after an argument with his brother during a Super Bowl party resulted in his biting off a portion of his brother’s right ear. 27-year old Sean Fallon-Nebbia was taken into custody after police officials were called to his apartment shortly after midnight on Super Bowl Sunday. Fallon-Nebbia is facing felony assault charges for punching his brother, Frank, in the face so hard that he was knocked unconscious, in addition to biting off a part of his ear in a scuffle so violent that emergency responders were called.

Frank Fellon-Nebbia received emergency medical treatment but doctors say that his bitten ear is now permanently disfigured and will likely need plastic surgery in order to look normal again. The brothers had been drinking heavily throughout the Super Bowl game action and then began wrestling around until Sean Fallon-Nebbia’s behavior became more aggressive and increasing violent. He is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail on $15,000 bail and must make a court appearance later this week. A judge has also issued an order of protection for his brother, Frank, who lost a lot of blood and remains hospitalized.
