Man Builds Video Game To Propose: She Said Yes!

Man builds video game to propose
Oregon City, OR – Robert Fink and his girlfriend Angel White share a common love of technology and video games. White is a web-designer and Fink is a 3-D graphic artist for video games. Inevitably, Fink made the decision that it was time to propose marriage to White. However, he wanted to pop the question in grand style. To do this, he decided to create a new video game.
Using the help of a friend to handle the programming, Fink created the graphic artwork for a game called “Knight Man, a Quest for Love”. The game plays like a version of Super Mario attempting to rescue a princess. Once the game was complete, at least in beta form, he brought his girlfriend to the studio to test the game much as she had done at other times. However, at one point in the game, the words began to appear on the screen stating that the knight had braved dangers in search of the one true love he now believed he found.
Those words evoked an emotional response from White, but what followed put her in a state of sheer happiness: he proposed marriage to her. The whole event was captured on film and family waited in the wings to share the moment once she accepted, which she did.
