Man Drives Car onto Neighbors Roof

Glendale, California – Galina Wynn was off to a dinner date with her husband Robert in their black Cadillac when she reported that her husband lost control of the vehicle as they descended down their steep driveway.

The car then drove onto their neighbors lawn and went airborne until it finally came to rest atop their 80-year-old neighbors house.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

The Glendale Fire Department told reporters: “There was one person inside the house but not in the area of where the car landed.”

Galina Wynn told CNN affiliate KABC that her husband, Robert, couldn’t stop as they turned the corner from their hillside home. There was something wrong with the car, she said.

“As soon as we hit the corner, the airbags deployed and I didn’t even see where we were going from there because the view was obscured,” Wynn said.

The photographs of the vehicle sitting atop the neighbors roof at a 45 degree angle are stunning.

However, it appears that the actual damage to the roof is relatively minor. The same cannot be said of the Cadillac which is in need of major repairs.

“You know I’ve seen other similar collisions. We have a lot of hillsides here in Glendale. But this was very unique that it landed the way it did and didn’t go through the roof of the home and cause some injuries,” Glendale police Lt. Scott Bickle told CNN affiliate KTLA.

It turns out this is the second time that a neighbor has lost control of their car and crashed it into a house.

According to reports, the man may have to retake his drivers licence test.
