New Book Claims Armstrong Was Told To Dump Olsen Twin

It seems like the revelation of Lance Armstrong’s doping early last year has truly opened the floodgates to waves of new allegations about his personal life. With the release of “Cycle of Lies” – a new tell all book by Juliet Macur, the revelations are unlikely to stop any time soon.

One of the new allegations to emerge from this new book relates to the disgraced cyclist’s short-lived relationship with Ashley Olson, one of the famous Olson twins. At the time, they were only seen in public together a few times, and the relationship only lasted for a few short months. There’s a 15 year difference between the two.

However, The book claims that in private, Armstrong’s handlers were rather worried about how the relationship with the significantly younger girl would affect his public image. When confronted by one of his handlers about the issue, the book claims that Armstrong reacted angrily to the idea of cutting ties for his image’s sake.

At the end of the day however, the relationship did not last long enough to tarnish Armstrong’s public image, and he would go on to date Kate Hudson afterwards – but it paints a very interesting picture of the relationship between Armstrong and his handlers.
