Nicki Minaj Angry Over ESPN Magazine Cover

Hip hop singing sensation Nicki Minaj is reportedly furious over her recent cover photo for ESPN Magazine, which resulted in an “artificial lengthening” of her forehead. This new report, which was published on the official London Daily Mail website, claims that Minaj objected to the cover photo being retouched without her consent.

The volatile singer of such recent hip hop hits as “Starships” published several photos to her personal account on Instagram, which she claimed showed that the ESPN cover photo was retouched in a way that made her forehead look much longer than necessary. She also claimed that other facial distortions and blemishes were present in the retouched photograph.

An angry Minaj was quoted via her Instagram commentary as writing, “I love my personal unretouched photos where my forehead doesn’t mysteriously grow in length”. To prove her point, she also published several unretouched, “candid”, photos which allegedly came from the same photography session that produced the images used on the cover and in an accompanying article.

This latest photo retouching controversy follows hot on the heels of similar media outrages caused by alleged tampering with photos featuring such celebrities as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslett, and a host of others.
