A lovely 3,400 Square foot three-story Victorian home built in 1901 has been placed on the market this week. The home has beautiful refinished original hardwood floors, updated plumbing, marble fireplace and mantle, and offers a built in bookcase with hidden panel leading to a safe room or office. The home has four bedrooms, two full spacious baths, a 940 sq. ft third floor that is unfinished, and a couple of ghosts who aren’t finished, either.

The Jon Liemen family are putting the home up for sale below appraisal value so they can move to Florida. They declare the ghosts are non-problematic, never make a mess and for the most part stay on the second story of the magnificent home. Jon Liemen acknowledges the spirits sometimes become annoying around midnight, having been known to quarrel between themselves loudly enough to alarm their cat into jumping onto the Liemen’s bed, waking them abruptly and faster than any alarm clock.

The only other consideration for buyers is that the non-rent paying spirits also sometimes materialize behind the homeowner or his wife in front of a bathroom mirror, but just momentarily, disappearing as soon as the Liemens jump in surprise.
