Paltrow: botox would make me look Scary
Academy award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow was interviewed recently for Harper’s Bazar magazine and took to discussing a wide range of issues.
On the subject of aging, she freely admitted that she’ll try anything – at least once.
She says she tried Botox injections which are mild doses of the Botulinum toxin used to relax facial muscles and smooth away the appearance of wrinkles.
However, the 40-year-old actress from “Shakespeare in Love” says the injections made her look crazy with a Joan Rivers-like appearance.
“I’ve probably tried everything,” she told the mag. “I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I’m 50. I’ll try anything. Except I won’t do Botox again, because I looked crazy. I looked like Joan Rivers!”
Gwyneth’s own mother, Blythe Danner, admitted to using Botox with no regrets. “Well, I think we’ve all fooled around with [Botox],” she said in 2010. “I won’t go into detail, but we all need a little help from our friends!”
She went on to add that she’ll never try those injections again. Paltrow, while still stunningly beautiful, adds that she is afraid to lose her beauty as time progresses, which is something many ordinary people can identify with feeling.
Paltrow has a fear of surgery but believes that when she is past age fifty, her concerns over her fading beauty may give her a change of heart about plastic surgery. Paltrow admits that to having a guilty pleasure: one cigarette of brand “American Spirit Light” a week.
She is currently making the rounds on TV shows promoting her new book entitled “It’s All Good”.
The book contains numerous healthy recipes that people can make to eat well and lose weight.
