Pregnant Woman Spends £3,000 on Girls Clothes Ends Up Having a Baby Boy
Northumberland, England – Sarah Sharples was expecting her first child when her doctor told her the baby’s sex would be female.

In her excitement, the 25-year-old mother-to-be went about planning the decor for the baby room, complete with matching furniture and plenty of clothes largely modeled around the color pink, reports the Daily Mail.

It would be the perfect setting for little Lily-Mae as her soon-to-be little princess would be called. However, when the infant was born, it turns out the doctors were wrong and Sarah was the proud mother of a healthy boy called Joseph. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sharples are elated over their child and love him dearly. However, they do have a lot of clothes lying around that Joseph won’t be wearing.

The couple also had to paintover the pink-stenciled name of Lily-Mae which was placed over various areas of the walls in the baby room.

The couple doesn’t exactly have a lot of funds for replacement clothes and furniture as they pretty much went all out with planning things for Lily-Mae. Sharples says she tried to plan everything out to perfection so that she’d be completely prepared for anything Lily-Mae would need.

Thus far, the proud parents of Joseph Sharples have remodeled the room in a setting of the animated film “Monsters, Inc.”
