Calgary, Ontario – Canada’s native daughter Shania Twain will be headlining the Calgary Stampede at the Saddledome this coming July 9. The event’s festivities last 10 days with Twain being the big draw. Tickets will sell in the range of $89.25 and $149.25. Tickets are set to go on sale at 10:00AM Friday, January 24 at either Ticketmaster retail outlets, their website ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 1-855-985-5000.

It goes without saying that the event organizers are absolutely giddy to have someone with Twain’s star power perform at their event. Plus, there is the fact that she’s a Canadian which adds a personal touch that would be difficult to top. Adam Oppenheim, Stampede Concerts Incorporated’s managing director, is ecstatic to have booked Twain. It should be noted that the Country legend hasn’t performed outside of Las Vegas in over ten years.

In booking Twain, Stampede Concerts Inc. does a near repeat of the success booking Garth Brook back in 2012. At the time of his concert, he hadn’t performed anywhere in a lengthy period. Brooks and Twain were the big Country Music stars of the 90s that propelled the music style into the mainstream of Canadian and American pop culture.
