The weather has been chilly lately in Paris, but actor Chris Pine of Star Trek fame has barely noticed since fanning the flame of romance with beauty queen girlfriend Iris Björk Jóhannesdóttir, a former Miss Reykjavik. He and his 23-year old sweetheart have been seen nuzzling together throughout the City of Lights. They were spotted acting just like regular tourists at the Eiffel Tower, the Tuileries and Invalides and even stopped to enjoy a cozy dinner at one of Paris’ charming cafes.

Pine has been on location recently in England to film “Into the Woods” with co-stars Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt. In a recent interview, the handsome bachelor, who is the son of actor Robert Pine, said he appreciated that his mother always taught him good manners and has provided numerous dating tips so he can impress a woman.

When asked about his ideal woman on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year, the Hollywood actor said he looks for both beauty and brains.
He said: ‘I think anything that any normal man would be looking for: intelligence, beauty and a sense of humour,
‘You have to be able to carry a conversation after the initial attraction kind of dies down.’

He reports that Mom taught him such etiquette basics as opening a car door for a woman, acting like a gentleman at all times and remembering to practice those small gestures that make a difference in the quality of life. Pine jokes that he’s ready to meet royalty, but looks like he’s already smitten with his own beauty queen.
