Supermodel Kate Upton Gets Marriage Proposal from Orlando Magic’s Macot

Orlando, Florida – Supermodel Kate Upton was enjoying a professional basketball game with her boyfriend Justin Verlander. Upton is known across the world as the bikini babe on the cover of the 2012 & 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The 21-year-old from St. Joseph, Michigan, was sitting in the regular seats with her boyfriend who himself is a celebrity as a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. Verlander was the 2011 Cy Young Award winner and was the American League strikeout leader in 2009, 2011, and 2012. Ironically, the 30-year-old was literally caught looking when he briefly stepped away from his beautiful girlfriend only to return to find her receiving a marriage proposal from another man.

It turns out that Stuff, the mascot for the Orlando Magic, went straight for Ms. Upton and unlike Verlander wasted no time in proposing marriage to the beauty. The incident was caught on camera much to the amusement of fans including Ms. Upton and her boyfriend. The stunning beauty thanked Stuff for his proposal via Twitter while making no other reference to his petition for betrothal. Verlander exasperated that he was away from Upton only momentarily and another man vied for her affections. Word of caution: get used to it.
