Sydney Skinny Dip Attracts A Crowd

Sydney Nudist Skinny Dip
Tasman Sea of Sydney, Australia – You can’t get more natural than being in the buff as hundreds of people dawned their Adam & Eve jumpsuits and took to the waters in protest of social conformity and to benefit Australia’s national parks at the same time. The second annual event drew 700 people, but was off slightly from last year’s 750 attendees. Participants swam a single lap around Middle-Head Island just off the coast. The entire journey is 900 meters or roughly 0.55 miles which is a fair swimming distance for most people.
The event draws people of all inhibitions with some getting into characters such as three attractive ladies each having a single letter of the word “SKINNY” on each cheek of their posteriors. For other participants, the move to break with conformity was much harder as they stayed behind the relative security of a towel until finally dropping it and breaking loose. One participant expressed the popular sentiment that we are born without clothes and should feel no inhibitions about having our bodies seen. After the exhilaration of the nude swim, participants took part in a live music event to cap off the experience. There is no word yet on how much money the event raised.
