Taylor Swift turned the normally melodious piano into quite a headbanger at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. Swift wore a sequined gown with a train in a dramatic beaded dove-gray setting. She performed “All Too Well” in star-studded fashion, too. Supposedly addressing her break-up with acting star Jake Gyllenhal, she rocked the song with exploding piano keys giving a head-banging performance that sent Twitter a-twittering.

Taylor Swift, girl head-banger, provoked reams of social media attention for the way she violently rocked her head back and forth with seeming emotion singing the ballad. Her fans seemed to like the raw emotions. Between the flashy metallic dress and the head bobs, Swift was the talk of the Grammys. While she didn’t take home any awards for the first time in years, she seemed to win the prize for best head-banging hair flipper, according to observers.

Swift was going pretty well through “All Too Well” when she hit the 2 1/2 minute mark of the five minute performance. Then, all head banging went loose. Her head went back and forth like a woodpecker gone wild before she settled back into form. After that, though, it was all good for the young superstar.
